A Fusion of Passions: Health and Helping

From an early age I have always loved sport, and later developed a passion for fitness and health, driven by a genuine desire to aid and uplift people. Even though I enjoy my corporate job, I still have a desire to contribute to others’ well-being. This blog is an outlet that allows me to reconnect with that desire.

Rewriting Normalcy: The Power of Perspective

It struck me that, despite perceiving myself as ‘normal,’ my exercise habits are probably not. From conversations with a lot of people I work with, training 4-6 times per week, eating pretty healthily and trying to stay off the booze is not the always the norm. I realise that my mindset and perception of health and exercise is slightly different – I enjoy it, I love pushing myself, and not everyone does. I want to put forward strategies for others to enjoy fitness and exercise, especially in the realm of busy working dads.

A Spark of Inspiration

I have a lot of good friends who are amazing trainers, and I am currently training a top notch gym called Benchmark. Benchmark are known for bringing through awesome trainer who constantly strive for knowledge. I often have great conversations about training with the guys, but a recent conversation with the newest trainer, Michael, sparked excitement in me. His unwavering enthusiasm reminded me that I possess experiences and knowledge worth sharing, and that’s precisely what I aim to do.
